Default Problem with My VForce......

It quit on the trails today. Very puzzling.....I have had it three days and have had an absolute ball with it running trails, mudding, hill climbing, etc. Then later on, while putting around I put it in reverse to turn around and it died. It would not start back up and absolutely nothing lights up. Not even the headlights will come on. Something must have popped in the electrical system but I have checked out the fuse and it is fine....battery is fine.

Any ideas???

brewster2003...
I know you said that you checked the fuse, but did you chech the other fuse under the seat? Its next to the battery and is a 30 amp ATO automotive style fuse. Its easy to miss as it is covered to keep water off of it. I heard of this happening to others and thought I'd pass it on to you. Good luck!

Gentleman, thank you very much for this tip. We did check the glass fuse, but I was unaware of the Automotive type fuse. I will check it in the morning! Thanks again!

Default Problem with My VForce......

Hi Guys, I found the fuse this morning on my V and guess what? It was toasted........the help we can offer each other in these forums in incredible!

Problem Solved! I think what may have caused it to begin with is there are some wires under the seat that did get pinched and slightly exposed the copper strands inside. So I will taping and securing them better for sure, and definately getting some extra fuses to carry with me

Can it FLY? I raced a Z400 yesterday and it pull 3-4 quad lengths in front of it no problem. It has better jump from the start as well as much higher top end. There is no other quad for me! I am thinking of naming it Neo......cause it's the ONE Trinity....
