I finally went for a ride tonight, no way could I wait any longer to try out the new duals. It seemed loud at first, but I quickly loved the way it sounds when you're on and off the gas. It certainly brings out the point behind a big bore V-twin. A friend was riding with me and he said it sounds way tougher now, he was trashing me about how it sounded like a utility quad one day.

The new Renthals were a much needed improvement, trust me. I think it is probably the best investment you can make for so little money. I can't believe I didn't change them sooner. They have a little flex to them that helps smooth out a bit of the rougher stuff, and they keep your arms farther apart for better control and more leverage. It's really nice for sliding in the corners, tons of control.
