my neighbor thinks his bayou can beat my 300ex.i dont think he'll stand a chance

 

is youe bayou a white grey color. Because I have a 93 bayou that is that is that color.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

 

there is green they had white ones though

 

k my friend has a bayou and it does not go fast at all his top on final gear is lik my mid 4th on my mojave. i would say the 30 somrthing mph range would be right. also whe he drives you hear a ring or a sound that would like come from a wind up car almost like a siren. is that normal? it does a have a big gearbox.

 

50? no.. 45? no... the top speed is supposedly 43 tops.. but i get 40.. i weigh 190 though.. lol im a HW

 

i own both of the quads the kawaski seem to have more power because it revs higher it will win in a drag race but it will not turn good at all when you turn one wheel comes off the ground i have had bad experiences with the the kawi it flips over to easy

 

I had a 1990/300 Bayou which would hang with a 450 Forman and the 400 kodiak. I couldn't hold a candle going up hill but going down I could do better.

Going down a dirt road on the level it would be side by side with me holding my nose down over the bars trying but not getting past them. I was happy though, a 1990 Bayou hanging with a 400 and a newer 450.

mine will hit the upper 40's when im running 100LL aviation fuel in it. These quads arent meant to go fast. they do fine in the woods but are a tad tippy. Whats all this emphasis on speed? Ignorant people try to go 50+ trying to run thru the woods and such -- that how people get killed and screw up perfectly good toys...
