Tommyboy, I agree with those here who advise exercising caution. See my signature. What it does'nt say is that I have a scar about 8" long on my left forearm and had to go through 8 weeks of fairly unpleasant physical therapy to just get my arm to work sort-of right again. I severed my superficial radial nerve and will never be able to feel my thumb or the back of most of my left hand. You do not ever want that machine to land on you. Looking back at my accident now, it could've have been much worse. My 11 year old son might have seen me die. I count my blessings every day.

Sorry about the sermon. Atv's sometimes make us feel like we're superhuman, but all to often they painfully remind us of how fragile we really are.

Be careful out there.

Mark

Yes, I know how dangrous atv,s can be. when I first started ridding about 10 years ago I had a bad accedent and woke up in the hospital, no fun... But I think if it came down to it I can get off the prairie befor it flips. I just wanna be confadent that it will make the climb befor I hit it. I do know that on the raptor you can hit it in 3rd wide open and you wont even get half way up befor you compleatly power out and in 2nd wide open its lugging pretty bad when you top out... as soon as it drys up here im gonna hit it on my prairie, the dirt is loose enough that if i spin out I can spin my tiers down enough to make it sat there untill I get some help for my baby.

Well the ol prairire gave it all she had but spun out about half way up the hill. It has plenty of power and speed but I guess the weight of it was to much and it dug all 4 mud lites down deep. I got my 2 raptor friends to help me get it off then I turend around and took there raptor up it so I couldent say it beat me.
