Default fuel switch on the v-force?

here's a lame question.. I haven't found a fuel switch on the v-force and am assuming it's too advanced to have one, or something weird like that. as i read the maint. manual it does state "turn the fuel tap to the off position"? anyone know if there is a on/off position anywhere?
sorry for the probably idiotic sounding questions, but im not too smart when it comes to engines/crap like this.

You have to remove the plastic around the air box to get to it. Once you remove it you can see it on the right side of the bike. Pg 38 in the owners manual...

You don't need a fuel shut-off because of the fuel pump, or so my dealer told me when I asked.
