I hit my rev limiter at 44 mph in low range. I can only run 68 mph in high. According to the gear ratios of low and high, would 68 mph in high be the same rpm's as 44 mph in low. If I calculated correctly, then I am at my rev limiter in high. Is there anytihing I can do to increase top end before the top end module comes out. Any way to change the gear ratios with clutch weights?

 

Only 68mph? You poor guy! J/K, that's a very good top speed. The rev limiter starts softly at 7700 rpm and hits the wall at 8200. A 360 belt might gain you a couple of MPH.

 

Tire size will change your gear ratio.

 

I have hit 68mph going downhill on pavement once. I never did hit the rev limiter. Does this mean Im capable of running faster? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
