Default plans for an atv trailer?

anyone know where to find some plans on how to build a little trailer for an atv or would it be better to just go buy a tiny little one?

Go to a decent trailer store and look around. The cheap kind you get for $159 at harbor freight (and other places like it) stink. I refuse to haul my quad on a trailer that is so flexible it looks like it could easily break and let my valuable ATV go crashing down the road.

If you are a handy man, just go a look to see how other trailers are made and just sortof copy it.

I spent too much time in college and could design them myself, but most of the time I just go by my gut feelings. I sometimes make trailers a little heavy, but at least they don't break.

I am currently making the most miniscule trailer for my 650. It will be really low, so the 650 can hop up without a ramp. The wheels will be outside the bed. The tongue will fold so I can lean it up inside my garage. There won't be any real floor so other people won't ask to borrow it to haul rocks and other garbage.

Ansible, are you talking about a trailer to pull behind your quad? If you are, go HERE and have a look around. The walking beam axle style is the only way to go.

haha... good idea on leaving it floorless. too bad we can't do that to our trucks, people asking to move stuff gets pretty old.
