I did not have high expectations for my V. I couldn't believe I beat a piped raptor 3 times in a row on flat sand. It kinda made my day. He was in 4rth when we ran out of room and he was 1 bike behind. The holeshot is where you win, they just can make up the loss. The same raptor beat me pretty good on a hill climb, so it's not the power, but the CVT that puts you ahead in a drag race.

Wait until you pipe and jet your V, you will be in for a surprise in the way it wakes up. I too was getting beat in the sand by my friend with his 03 Raptor that has much work done to it, Pipes, jetting, K&N, 2+2 A-arms, Works shocks all around and nice paddles. Now that I have my pipes and extreme paddles the tides have turned. He wont even race me up the largest dune unless we start back from the bottom about 300 feet to allow him to build up some RPM. If we start at the base of the dune, I kill him at the top by 5-6 lengths easily and with a running start I still beat him by 3-4 lengths, without my pipes and my edge paddles he would have about the same results in front of me. I even beat my first Banshee this weekend which really surprised me! I dont know if the bike had any up grades or not, but he did have White brother silencers on it. It was a really hot day too so maybe the two stroke didnt like the heat. At least it should give you something to look forward to!!

Default V force speed

I was riding over the weekend with my friends, I have a v-force, the other has a 650 prairie and the other has a kfx 400. We raced 4 times and I would get them every time, but after about 200 yards the 400 would catch me and pass me. He would stay within 2 or three quad lengths. I never thought I would lose to a stock 400. We bought our bikes at the same place at the same time. I did the easy break in thing, and had the service done at the shop. I don't think there is anything wrong with my bike. I hope they come out with the cdi box soon. Any help on getting this thing to run to it's potential would greatly appreciated.
