Default V force speed

Hey every one, I might be interested in getting a V but am consernd with every thing that has a manual clutch beating me on top end. The reason for my consearn is every one on here who owns one will tell you that a rappy or ds or Z will kick its but. So my queastion is what would it take and how much would it cost to get the true potintail of the engine to come through?

WHo ever is saying that is full of crap. The DS and Rappy is there with it but no Z400 or KFX400 is even close.

Ya, I hear the 300ex is really fast if you get a DG bumper and tons of skid plates.

That was pretty funny nonetheless. I never have figured out why people list all that stuff in their signature. There was a guy on here one time that mentioned like 3 sets of tires, all kinds of rack bags and crap, and even tie down straps in his signature. His signature read longer than half the stuff he posted.

AZZHOLE doesn't just list every bolt on he's got...but also lists his brother's $hit...his cousin's....mother's...and ex-wife's former roomate.

I believe AZZHOLE listed eveyone in Rhode Island in his signature!

Hey AZZHOLE....the exhaust from the 700 might just blown that 300lb. YFZ off the trail while your followin' behind one.

Rappy WILL NOT kick THE FORCE's butt. A stock FORCE will outrun a stock RAPPY if you get a good holeshot. The FORCE WILL take about any clutched atv off the line...but the midrange is lacking. When a CRAPPY hits third and fourth it will catch up....but with a good lead you'll stay in front....b/c the top end is about the same on these two bikes. I ride all sorts of clutched atv b/c my friends have them all....400EX, Predator, CRAPPY(s), 300EX, etc... The FORCE (JMO) is the most FUN to ride. It's got all the guts you need in the bottom end. AND $hit won't just fall off like the CRAPPY or Predator (the Force is well built).

Not true! as a v-force owner, I just got back from the dunes and I was with 3 Raptors 2 less than weeks old and the other a year old. With the holeshot, I couldn't stay in from of the Rappy either on the hill or on the flats. I can get the jump on them, but in about 4th gear they start to pull away and through 5th they are gone. The rappy will get about 2 lengths ahead and then they both max out about the same speed.

I believe a simple clutch/belt kit on the V, will get more of that motor to the tires/ground. (without doing a thing to the motor) (at least a good place to start)

All of the Polaris boys have it figured out with the auto beltdrive.

Polaris people could really help you V boys, in that department.

I don't know about on the sand.. but in the dirt, on trails, and on pavement, I have punished several Rappy's (stock and slightly moded).
Like Xtremest said-you will get the holeshot. When the Rappy starts the wind out 3rd he will close the gap. But so far I haven't been beat by one.
