Default Good Times Financing

I bought my KLR 650 on my Kaw card... $0.00 down, 0% interest for a year... but the interest will kill you after term, so I fianced it through the bank after 6 - 8 months ( did a consoladation loan )... one thing to be careful of, is your vehical may not be worth fiancing dollar amount if you did 0 down 0% financing for a year... I have a friend that did this with a $35,000.00 car... after a year at 0 down, 0% financing, with the miles they put on it, it had a loan value of $17,000.00, & they were unable to get a loan on the car from anyone but the dealer, at a much higher interest rate...I do use my Kawi card for ATV accessories though... hope this helps...WAM

I bought my p650 and my KLX400R using the free financing for a year, but paid them off before any interest was charged. It worked really well. I cancelled the card after I paid off the 650, then this year I went to buy the bike and they would not "re-open" my account. The dealer then called in a new credit application and I got it no problem. It made me mad for a short time because I have perfect credit, but it all worked out. Good luck.

I did, I got the 3% apr and 0 down for 3 years deal. The best interest rate a bank can do on a atv loan is 10% apr. I worked it out so I pay enuff that it will be payed off in 3 years, cause the interest after that is like 18%..

I dont think Kawi is offering any more good deals on that card.. I personally got the 0% & paid it off before it was due as well with no problems.. If Kawi is not offering any special financing, I'd suggest you get a loan from a Credit Union. Best rates in a long long time right now.

I've used the good times card for purchasing a couple of quads. Fortunately I was able to pay them off before the big interest kicks in. If you're not prepared to pay them off quickly I'd finance through a bank instead, that way you'll get a better interest rate.

3.99 % for 3 years ended at the end of June, right now they are offering

3.99% APR $0.00 down and low payments for 24 Months (after 24 months it jumps to 17.8%APR or 21.8%APR depending on if you missed any payments)

or

$0.00 down, $0.00 payments, & 0% interest for 6 months

they also have $250. back if ur military or $200.-$300 back on select models

so if you can get it payed off in 2 years its a prety good deal

right now, on ATV's, Kaw has 3.9%/2 years/$39.00-mo. I just bought my V-Force Monday. As long as you are SURE that you can pay the loan off in 23 months, you are OK. Go 24 mo., plus a day, and the interest will jump up to around 17-18%!!! Go to: www.buykawasaki.com it will tell you of all the promotions. This site is cool, check it out.

I used their financing (zero down zero payments for 6mo) on both my Prairie and my V. Then when the 6mo. was up I paid them off.
I will tell you that I had an ugly experience though. My Prairie had been paid off for 8 mo. My buddy wrecked it. I filled an insurance claim. The insurance company wrote a check to me and my dealer. When I asked why it was written to my dealer also, I was informed that there was still a lien on my quad! I called kawi financing and asked why they have a lien on my quad. They said "because we still have the title" When I asked why they still have the title, they said "because you haven't requested it. So I asked why they didn't send it to me automatically, since it is paid for. The bimbo on the phone told me "well we don't do that 'cause people move" At which point I blew a gasket, and said "I don't owe you any money, and your holding my title, and have a lein against my quad because I might have moved!" "I hadn't moved when you were sending me the bill!"
Basically they were holding my title, so that if I used my card to buy accessories, they had it as colateral. Even though I didn't owe them any $. So, if you use their financing, made sure that you REQUEST your title as soon as you make the last payment.

Come to think of it, I DID have to "boot'em' in the @$$ to get them going on cancelling the lien, and then SENDING me the clear title, after I paid it off! You are right, spyderfreak.
