Default Gearing the KFX 400

I installed 22" rear bear claw tires. The quad now is losing power (because of the hook up in the muc and stuff) in the bottom end. Top end is not that big of deal. I ride trails, hills, muskeg, water, mud........ Should I gear down to regain some of this lost power. One off the front sprocket and one on the back.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

P.S Pro Circuit pipe or CT???????????????

if the top end isnt a big deal go for it and sprockets are cheap 7 for a front and 21 for a rear at rocky mountain

how about putting a 13 tooth sprocket on the front for a little more torque.

One dealer suggested add two teeth on the back.

I would try a 13 tooth on the front, cheapest and easiest.

I am very happy with my ct pipe, good sound, looks, and fit.

Pro circuit has a lot deeper and louder sound, I also heard it is hard to install the head pipe. Then again, you wont change it often.
