Default Prairie 700/650 Comparison

There hasn't been a great deal of posts concerning the new Prairie 700 so I was very concerned about purchasing one. I own an 03 Prairie 650 and, like many others, was concerned that Kawasaki had wasted their efforts in building the P700 because of the minimal increase in cc's. My P650 has the DG module also which added to my conclusion that the P700 wouldn't be much faster.

I drove a P700 at the dealership yesterday. I BOUGHT IT TODAY. It feels much faster than my P650. It wheelies without the holeshot module. I'm going to line them both up tomorrow and get technical results from the drag at various distances. Bottom line, for those of you that think that the P700 isn't much faster like I did, think again. Go to your local dealership and drive one. You'll see, they're VERY impressive. I'll post pictures of it tomorrow. If you know anyone that wants a virtually new camo P650 let me know! LOL

If you really want to feel the power, slip that Diamond G modual on the 700 and hold on! Make sure to keep your foot on the brake pedal because you will have to use it to keep from going all the way over!

It's actually hard to keep the front end down,,, I have one on my 700 Prairie and just put one on a friends tonight. I weigh around 220 and even leaning forward it would pull the front straight up,, I actually scraped his rack on the ground while leaning forward! Before the modual it would lift the front but only about a foot or maybe just a little more and it was an effort to ride a wheelie, after the modual it was an effort to keep from riding wheelies all night! He had to leave or I'd probley be out riding wheelies yet! Mine is at my shop so I can't play on it right now! Big difference????? OHHHHH YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have you had your 700 to top speed? Both of these seem to hit a wall at 65 mph and will not go above that speed! One has 90 miles on it and mine has a little over 50 miles on it!

I haven't tested top speed, I hope to do so tomorrow. As soon as I do I'll post the results. You've got me excited about the module, I'll install it tomorrow.

Chris- What happened to the V Force? Did you sell it? You might want to keep that extra Prairie for the wife...
