I have DMC's on my V. Their a little on the loud side but they sound awesome. On my Harleys, I like em alittle on the loud side (Loud pipes save lives, to a point anyway) but on a ATV, loud pipes, close places to ride, remember that please, Putt

Hey Putt,
My Aliens are scheduled to arrive on Tuesday the 22nd. Do you have any info on the ease of installation? How much disassembly did you have to do of other parts to get them on? Did the right side fit OK when the toolkit was removed.
I have heard from others that the DMC product is of exceptional quality and fit and finish is superb. Woud you agree?

Very easy install. I was doing other mod's at the same time so I already had all the plastic off. I'd take the rear fender off at least, although not an absolute. It would make the job easier though. Just run down to your local dealer and get a couple new exhaust gaskets. other then that, fit and finish are superb. As you can see by my pix's however, before I installed the system, I sent the stainless head pipes to Jet Hot Coating in Tempe Arizona and had them coated with thier Sterling finish. Looks sweet and stays cooler. 140 for all three pieces. You won't regret the purchase. I also installed their optional spark arrestors too. Putt

I haven't heard any other pipes on the V except my Aliens, and yes, they do sound awesome. Deep and throaty like a Harley or piped V-8. I can't imagine any other pipe sounding any better.
