Default Trail Tech update

Hey Brewster, sorry it took so long to respond. I got the blue screen of death at home and I must have missed the post at work. The Renthals are only 1/2" lower than stock, they have a bit of flex to them that I really like. They also square your shoulders more to the bars so you get better control. It was nice to say goodbye to the stock grips also.

Having said that, I've had Renthals on everything I've owned, so it was like putting on a comfortable pair of jeans that have been lost in the bottom of the closet for awhile.

Default Trail Tech update

Vforcerider, I changed the setting but I have not ridden it yet. I am going camping this weekend at the Walden CO dunes so I should know by the end of the weekend. Thank again for the help.

How does the ignition switch need to be relocated? Check out this pic http://www.trailtech.net/images/kawa...fx700_xbar.jpg

It looks like a key switch to me. Not in plastic.

Hello everyone, yes, that does look like a key switch, but that is also the Standard Billet Riser. The dash I purchased and have recieved has the dash which houses the Trail Tech computer, right where you see the switch in that photo. I will post some pix's tomorrow of the Billet Dash/Riser, 1 1/18 X bar's and computer system. I havn't intalled anything yet, I'm having enough trouble finding time to post a pix right now. Work has finally picked up (Thank you Lord) But yes, you need to relocate the switch, and according to thier instructions, trim the Choke lever to get everything to fit. Everything looks totally awesome though, just like everything else I've seen from Trail Tech. I'm looking forward to installing it all very soon, I'll have that pix on my page tomorrow, Good night all, Putt
