Since my buddy wrecked my Prairie, and didn't have the decency to total it, I am force to fix it, instead of replacing it with a new 700. I ordered team green plastic for it from Mike Penland. $700 It looks awesome. Now if I could just get my dealer to put the steering column in it and give it back, I can move on. How long is a appropriate amount of time for my dealer to have it. The guy who wrecked it has his cast off and is completely healed! It's been 6 1/2 weeks! I called about it yesterday...They haven't even started it yet!! I "need to understand that this is a busy time of year". You would think that since I have spent 19 thousand dollars at their shop in the past 16mo. I would get some special attention. Guess not.
I will post some pics of my Prairie with the green plastic if I ever get it back.

I'll be very interested in seeing pictures of your new green plastic. Is it the same as stock (i.e., complete with fender flares, etc.)? How's the fit & finish? Were the mounting holes pre-drilled? Thanks for the info. Sorry about your Prairie!

NOPE. BUT he IS available by phone, though. NYROC'S 650 knowledge base has the #, I think. He'll talk to you at the races, too. THAT is cool, IMO.

The plastic is identical to the original(holes, flares etc.) only green. The finish is excelent, nice and shiney for now. Don't know about the fit yet. 'Til I get the rest back from the dealer, I can't put it on.

Mike is very cool. When I called his shop(Mikes Bikes), he answared the phone. I had a lot of questions about a lot of different things (tower supports, steering columns, bars, exhaust) . He anwsered them all. Very nice guy to talk to.

He doesn't have a web site 'cause he hates computers.
