New V-black piece?

Default New V-black piece?

Anyone heard of an aftermarket vented piece that replaces the stock black nose piece on the V? I thought that I had seen a posting somewhere about such a thing??? Or it could be that I'm outta' my mind....whatever the fact any help would be great. Thanks -Carl

Nope, your not losing it. But it wasn't a part that you can buy. I can't remember who here did it but what they did was cut some slots in the nose piece and installed some screening behind it. They did a real nice job, and it looked real good. I'm going to give someone a chance to mention who before I spend a whole lot of time doing a search, I'm sure someone here that reads this will remember, Putt

As I recall it was one of the GreenTeam that said it was to be available in carbon fiber or something like that. Putt, the other one you are talking about is here: Aero I pm'ed this guys to see if he would make me some of those aluminum shrouds around his radiator but didn't get a response.

Yes there will be Carbon Fiber scoops available soon. Carbon Man just called me and said he was sending me down some of the first units. These hoods are very trick looking, I will get a pic of it as soon as I get the first shipment.
Price tag on them is $180

I think they should make yellow plastic with the black hood scoop on the v, i think that would look sweet.
