On a similar note, I read somewhere a month or so ago about a new ATV company I had never heard of, developing a line of ATV's using a rotary engine. I will try to find it again.

Default Six-Stroke?

"40 bhp at the rear wheel at 5000rpm as tested after Sir Alan
Cathcart's test ride. (Computer predicts 86bhp @9000rpm, 41 ft/lb @ 6000rpm)"

I wonder why they didn't dyno test it at 9000rpm?

"the 6S-V2 revs reasonably high by four-stroke standards, there seemed to be no direct benefit in doing so - there was no more power up at, say, 8000rpm than there seemed to be 2000rpm lower"

I guess thats why. It does sound like 2+4 stroke engine though.

according to the article, dynos are hard to come by in the area he is in so the 5000rpm was the only one he could use
