Default Rough weekend for the V Force

I finally got my getting right. I got the 138/142 setup to work after lots of fiddling.

Let my neighbor ride it last night and he stood it straight up and bend the grab bar and broke the plastic around the light.

Took it out today to test the rejetting and hit a small tree and bent my left tie rod all to hell.

So here are the questions:

1) Is there a rear grab bar on the market that will not bend when a V Force stands straigt up? If so, what?

2) Should I replace the tie rods with stronger ones? The weak tie rods do keep the frame, steering stem and other more expensive components safe by being sacrificial. They are kinda cheap and easy to change so I am leaning to keeping the stock ones in case I hit something else. What are you guys thoughts on that?

3) How much will that back plastic crap run me?

Thanks for all the replies to my jetting issues and if you see STAKK, tell him I am sorry for falsely accusing him. He won't talk to me anymore

(1) There are many strong grab bars on the market now .... ( I chose AC Racing )
(2) I chose to buy stronger tie rods
(3) I think the plastic around the light was less than $15.00, now the light itself, that was $85.00 !
( The rear plastic was $175.00 )

Pro Armor makes a really nice rear grab bar.

Homedawg,

I also have bent my grab bar and broke the light bracket as well as bent the tie rod. I chose to get the stronger tie rod and am glad I did because I know with the jumping, and trail riding I do it would be bending all the time, and that is unreasonable.

I ordered the wider grab bar from proarmor and it is going to be here tomorrow. They designed it to stick out farther so it would protect that back light in the event of standing the bike up.
