My only problem was that the dealer wanted $7695.
Go tell your dealer to go and DO someone else! I hate dealers who think they have a golden egg of a ATV! I actually had one dealer tell me that he didn't need to make a deal with me cuz he could sell it to someone else.... Funny thing is, I was in the shop a couple weeks after that and the V was still there! The boner of a sales guy was GONE and the ATV was marked at a resonable price. However the damage was already done to his customers who were interested in it.

Looks like the dealer is trying to milk the V for it's current popularity as being brand new. I got mine for $6800 (out the door, taxes, prep, etc) the day it was released to the dealers. Plus the dealer delivered it to my front door (a 100 mile drive for him at no extra cost) in the freaking rain!

Hit the Kawasaki website and check for dealers in your area. A few phone calls requesting their BEST, out the door price can make the difference.

Amen Delmustator:

I have seen that kind of attitude all too often when a new toy comes out that is the latest and greatest. I live very close to a city of 1.2 million and the last 4 toys I bought were all >2hrs drive from home for that very reason

That's a crazy price. I got mine for $6500 OTD. Try finding a smaller dealer with not so much overhead. I drove an hour to get mine because the local dealers were crazy too.

ROCKSVFORCE,

I don't go to Walden as much as I would like, I only find time about once a year for now. I just took my son for the first time and he loved it, he wants to go back. We have land down by Walsenburg where I ride as well as a few other places we go. I am going to Rampart in the morning to work on jetting my quad, The dealer had it set up for sea level and I finally got some jets from the dealer. I have it set up for factory specs at this altitude right now, but I am going to mess around with it some and see if I can make her run a little better.

It should be under 7K including sales tax and registration. That dealer is insane. I bought mine for $6200 and I think I folded too soon cause they loaded it in my truck before I even started to sign the papers. It's hard to dicker when you want it soo bad and your wife is asking why we cant go home yet. I fought for about 20 minutes then gave up at $6200. The original invoice they showed me was around $8500 but it had extra stuff on it.
