Default removing reverse rev limiter.

can the reverse rev limiter be overiden or removed.,on the kfx 400.im sick of getting stuck i sand because i have no power.please help me and millions of others.

Ditto for the P650. I'd love to get rid of that damn limiter. I've wondered if just connecting the two wires that go to the overide switch would do the trick. I havent researched it yet but if someone has please let me know.

Yes their is, type reverse limiter overide-
his name is freekazoid he gives step by step wire jump for overide. Very helpful. Thanks again Zoid!!!

I also used the instructions from freakazoid and it works great.

Something else to try,
There is a red wire with a white stripe just down from the pink wire on the cdi. Pull out the plug that has the red wire. Pull off the internal bracket that holds the wire clips in place, push out the pin with the red wire/with white stripe reinstall the bracket on the plug and install. No more reverse limiter you will have full power in reverse.

Does the reverse light still work with this mod? My buddy wants to do this to his z400 if the reverse light still works. Thanks!

alltoys trick works on the Prairie's but I'm not sure if it works on the 400's the same!

I'm not an expert at searching these forums. "deautaronomy" says type reverse limiter overide-. Cant find the step by step wire jump for overide from "freekazoid" I dont find him as a member of this forum?
