Which one. primary or secondary?

Default How long to change Vforce clutch spring?

Primary: 15-30 minutes depending if you have air tools or not. The primary spring is under almost zero pressure, very easy to change.

Secondary: 15-60 minutes depending on the tools and experience. The secondary spring is under huge amounts of pressure, very difficult to change without the proper tools.

What is the difference between the primary and secondary spring?

Primary is the drive clutch attached to the crank of the motor.

Secondary is the driven clutch attached to the drive train.

You best be having a buddy that knows CVT technology before taking off the covers!!

I should mention the secondary spring has potential to kill or maim you if it flys out of control.....I'M NOT JOKING EITHER!!
