Hey guys, I haven't been keeping up very well on this stuff. I am bone stock for now. I'm not sure what the elevation is here ( southeastern Ky.) Will pipes, jetting and clutch springs make much difference? I have seen mixed opinions about airbox mods. Any Kentuckians or anyone close out there who can answer these questions? I like the looks of the alien exhaust. Has anything new surfaced on cdi lately? Thanks.....Mark

A stiffer spring will make a big difference by itself, adding the duals will make it even quicker.

 

Hey if i get a new primary spring, will my Kawasaki dealer be able to put it on for me?

 

Don't pay good money for what's basically a 15 minute job, learn to do it yourself because you're probably going to be doing it more than once.

 

Will pipes, jetting, and primary spring take care of most similarly modded raptors?

 

As long as you can hold the front end down.

yo whats the best spring to use? i trail ride sometimes but i race alot more vs my friends. ones got a 01 rapy and anothers got a yfz450. on the road the rapy wont beat me in a drag but the 450 kills me by at least 4 quad langths. i want a better hole shot and more top end if i can. any ideas?
