What would you experienced mudders recommend me doing to lube my p650 after mudding?
Just kidding. I hope it rains there and you get a lot of snow in your mountains this winter.
Basially there isn't anything to lube, other than the engine, front diff, rear diff.
-Wash it.
-Wash the radiator, get all mud off. Don't get close with a pressure washer. Mud in rad causes easy overheating.
-Check for torn boots front and rear. If torn, water will destroy front CV and rear u-joints.
-The rear swigarm pivot bearings are the only rear end item that gets bad from too much mudding. The springs may get noisy from grit. Ignore it. The rear axle really shouldn't make a sound, unless the differential gears and bearings were bad.
-The 4x4 actuator can get water damage after excessive amounts of mudding and water, but it is uncommon. Take it apart and use sealant.
