Default Does DG snorkel require re-jet

Installed holeshot module and bike wheelied like crazy. Added DG snorkel & lost performance. Has anyone just replaced snorkel How large a jet change if any did it require and did you have to adjust the aircsrew setting?

Call Don Grimes at Diamond G Racing. He will tell you what jets are best to use for the DG snorkel. You might also consider getting a twin air filter (high flow filter) to take advantage of the added air flow from the DG snorkel.

of course Don is the answer, & can probably get you dialed in on the first shot... but basically any time you put more air through your engine, you will need to adjust the fuel accordingly... if you haven't done anything to your exhaust, that may be the bottleneck, or the filter etc.

typically on an '02 the air filter can be a bottleneck to the air flow, then the snorkle, then the exhaust...

but the '03 models flow much more air with the stock filter than the '02 models, & have the same dinky snorkle intake, & same exhaust

My Bike was previously re-jetted 142/145 after I added Penland Cams, K & N power kit, Super Trapp IDS II exhaust, Black & red EPI springs, 25" Mud Machines on rear, and modded the Air Box with 4"x3" opening.

Added the holeshot Module and High gear was AWESOME. Added the snorkel in anticipation of additional adrenaline rush but performance dropped.

Guess DG Snorkel lets more air in than I anticipated. Will try 145/150 and move up from there in quest of
