Default Help me out! 400 or 700

ok heres the thing, i love the way the 400 looks and feels and that it is so light. Now the 700 is automatic wich i don't like and it ways a lot more but is the power worth it? wich wheelies better? wich is better in the woods, and jumps? is the extra weight a big problem, is it hard to get un stuck in snow or mud? also for the cash you save from buying the 400 can you make it just as fast as a raptor? thxs, eny and all imput would be great!

My friend has both and let me ride both one day.

The V power was more fun overall. In fact, the automatic also makes it more fun. I wanted to stay on the V and not ride the 400. We all jumped it, climbed it, powerslide, wheelie, etc. The V is where it is.

Some people just can't get used to the idea of an automatic. I was like that too. Until you drive an good automatic. Then you think - gosh I had absolutely no idea it could be this good.

The 700 is quicker and faster in stock trim. Time rides through wooded trails with small jumps got the same times on my course. The 400 has better suspension for jumping and has less bump steer. The 700 is easier to ride due to the auto. For the woods I would take the 700 hands down. The 400 would be better for MX style riding. I have raced a VForce in TT and found a big advantage in the power and torque of the 700. The 400 will go through the corner easier but the 700 comes out of the corner faster.

It's really a toss-up depending on what you want to do with it. Good luck in your decision!

I had the exact same question, but I bought the V. You save less than $1000 by getting a 400, and you will regret not getting the V. It is one bad @$$ ride. Mine is a blast!

A $1000 should get you all of that but you will not get 44 HP, you need exhaust yet. Or else you will chocking the motor out.

The V-Force is fun, I had a Z400 before the V-Force and I have more fun on the V, it also jumps about the same in strock trim.
