Iam betting anything, when he jamed it in rev that not only did it mess the clutch but i BET ANYTHING it broke the output shaft! Cuz i have seen that happen to a few around hear buy doing the same thing!

 

the only reason i thought it would be stupid is because i don't know the displacment's between the two engines and would'nt be sure if it would fit in the mojave but if it does and the engine problems big go for the 250r engine then you have a kick ***! mojave

 

what is this motor out of????

also, you said he probaly broke the output shaft. is that hard to replace?

well some dude tried to sell his trailblazer 250 with 250r engine in it and still called it a trailblazer if you want you can call it a 250mojaveR

 

ya, what quad does this 250r motor come out of? is it a honda?

250r is a honda 2 stroke. nice motor, but i agree with rock rider and would rebuild a your mojave motor, or get another mojave motor and bore mod that. it would be an easier job and not to expesive.

 

The output shaft is a HUGE job to change! PROBLE one of teh biggest tear downs you could do to your motor! That part itself does not cost alot! But man its a HUGE job

 

Don't even consider putting a 250r motor in a mojave. It's silly. 250r motors are very expensive. A motor swap is a PITA. Get a newer mojave motor for under $400, and put it in your frame. If the quad was treated like that likely the whole motor is junk.

 

anyone know where i can find one? there is one on ebay but its kinda old. if my motor is junk i want to get like a 95 or so engine.
