I wouldn't fix it. It is prolly a problem with the tranny and is not worth splitting the cases to fix it. Find another Mojave and use the parts off the one u have now. There are prolly alot of good parts still left on it. Valves, Piston, Rings, Camchain, Crankshaft.....etc.

we just found the problem. the output shaft broke completely in half. and also we need two of the kickstart gears. We didnt split the case yet but are planning on finding the shift forks need to be replaced also.

its gettin there, slowly but shorly

BE CAREFUL WHEN U SPLIT THE CASES AND WANT TO CLEAN UP THE GASKET EDGES!!! If u gouge the aluminum where the gasket sits it won't seal properly and u will have major leaks!! But go for it if u want to fix it. The parts r not that much but the labor to replace the parts is intensive. A shop would charge u an arm and a leg to fix ur problem.

Well me and my buddy are doing all the labor on the engine. That is what he does professionally so labor will be free. well ill give him a couple bucks for helping me. we are going to use a 90 degree angle grinder and smooth out the parts where the gaskets go. using a flat head screw driver or something like that would definitely screw it up and make it not seal properly. We havent split the block yet to see if the shift forks are gone, but we are pretty sure they are.
we are also going to hone the cylinder wall to clean it up and get new piston rings.

the parts i need now are
output shaft
2 kickstart gears
clutch disks (the metal ones)
gasket set
piston rings
probably clutch forks
