Does the 2004 kfx 700 use a fram 6017A???

 

The oil filter part# cross over is as follows

Fram P# PH6017A ( kawy replacement)

Fram P# 7371 (auto conversion)

Purolator P# PL14620 (auto conversion) *Recommended*

Note: The Purolator filter is significantly larger than both the stock Kawy filter and any other auto type oil filter that I have found. The extra length of the filter will allow you to add about 4-6 ounces of X-tra oil....a good thing....highly recommend using it.

Using this conversion you can use any brand oil filter, and you can also pick them up at any Wal-Mart or Auto Zone type outlets.

I use the mobil 1 oil filter on mine, I noticed it was slightly bigger than stock..

Yes same one I have been using fram ph6607 on both of mine,works good.

 

I use the Purolator PURE ONE oil filter, and Castrol Syntec(10-40 or 20-50, depends on the temp.)

 

For the KFX 700 does anyone know about the fram 4967
