The CDI runs off a fuse. check that.
The ignition switch has a resistor in it to signal the CDI to turn on (you can't hot wire it). The switch has two outputs, one to turn everything on, and the other one with a 1 ohm resistance in it to turn on the CDI. Check that switch make sure it is doing it's thing. If I don't turn my switch on all the way, everything lights but no spark. Your switch could be muddied enough to only turn on everything but the CDI.
There is an upside down sensor, check that.
Swap out the CDI from another one see if it works.
Reverse sensor doesn't matter. Speed sensor doesn't matter (at this point).

Nyroc,
thanks I belive that the switch may be the problem. I had a provblem with the switch and sprayed contact cleaner into it and it started doing this about 2 weeks afterwards I'll call the dealer thanks.

I'm thinking that Kawasaki should make nyroc's and this site mandatory reading for all dealers and machanics. It would benefit them in terms of time saved insulting customer intelligence with their stock excuses....AND...they could do the job correctly....the first time!
