black spring wont do anything for you beause it is the secondary spring...all that will do is incress belt life. but other then that you might be able to beat him

You will get the most bang for your buck with the Diamond G Hole Shot module. If you are drag racing out to about 400' you could jump out in front enough to out run him. If its longer than that he might catch you on top end. You can add the DG snorkel for much more air flow but you may have to rejet with it. It just depends on how rich/lean you are now. It may lean it out just right but more than likely you will have to add another size main jet, especially when Winter sets in and the air molecules are greater with the cold air. You could add the K&N without rejetting but I doubt you will notice much if any increase in speed with it alone.

If drag racing is a primary concern and you dont do any rock crawling or extreme technical trail riding then the Red primary spring from EPI will give you a great boost out of the gate when drag racing. I would run my red spring all the time if my wife would let me.

In a nut shell I would get the DG Hole shot module and the snorkel and take a chance on the jetting. You never know, the snorkel may lean you out perfect.

Good luck.
Tim

The Hole shot is very controlable. It doesnt change the engagement rpms like the red spring does. You will only feel its power when less than 3mph and give it WOT. It is advertised to kick out at around 30mph and I would say thats about right. I have no idea when the Top end "Unlimiter" module will be out.

Call this number 714 299 3865 for a Hole shot module.

So if going about 7-10 mph and you goos it the hole shot dosent work? In other words you have to nail it while under 3mph for it to work?

You are right, above 3mph and the Hole Shot has no effect. I dont know of anyone who is working on a cdi.
