Well, i dunno if the spring helped that much, cause I havent rode my V in about a month, but usually it would fall on its face to raptors, etc. in a 400ft- up race. Well I went out riding yesterday, and was about to leave cause I was the only sport bike out there, but the truck pulled up with a new YFZ450 and a piped raptor on it. I went up talkin to the guy and asked him if I could ride with them and he said sure. Well he didnt wanna race the 450 untill later so I raced his raptor in the 300ft sand drag and beat him, but I used to always beat raptors in a short drag. So we took it out to the BIG field, like 600ft. I got the jump and held a bike length on him till the end, it never has done that before, I usually got passed at the 400ft mark, but he said he wasnt catchin me. And we did it a few times. I was surprised, I guess the spring helped alot.. Anyways I talked him into runnin the 450, and we raced on the sand a few times, and I was SHOCKED when I beat him everytime.. He said the stockers were spinning bad, I believed him cause I was too, so we went in the grass, and it changed alot. If I didnt get the jump he would beat me, I would be right at his back tire, but if I could keep the front end down, I would beat him the same way he beat me.

those 450 race bikes are gonna be hard core when people start modin them!!!!

I'm thinkin about a pink spring for the 650, just worried that it'll make the clutch engagement rpm to high to be useful when trail riding.
