Has anyone had problems with the steellite wheels? I can't get these tire to seat to the wheel . i called dennis kirk and they called itp and they said they have not heard of any problems with these wheels. I know that some of you have had these problem and that there was a memo sent out but they say different. I bought to get away from this problem but I still have it. This is a very dangerous i like to open it up and whats going happen then. If any of you guys have someone i can call please help!

 

Do you mean the bead won't seat? Or do you mean the bead is too loose? If it is loose, send them back.

If it won't seat did you use dish soap generously on the bead while seating? It seems to get even the toughest beads seated. Wear safety googles or you may get dish soap in your eye.

 

Nyroc, thanks If anyone can help you can. These have a machine problem and i called to speak to dennis kirk and there was a misunderstanding. I had a brain blup .They asked me of they where itp and i said yes not thinking. They are HL wheels. So i called HL today and those guy where very helpful and said that there is another batch being maid. They said that they would make them good or work with me on another set that maxxis is coming out with soon. Go to there web page and check out the big horn tires and they are mounted on the new maxxis wheel. Once agian thanks!!
