Default Paddle tire question???

I was wondering if there is really that much of a difference in handling/turning between a V paddle or a straight paddle? The wo paddles tires I am considering are the ITP sand stars in a 22x11x10 size and the Skat Trak extremes in the 24x11x10. The sand stars are about $150 less then the extremes, which tilts me in there direction, but from what I'm hearing the extreme is a very good tire. I mainly just like to cruise the dunes(at a pretty good pace). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

i have the 22-11-10 10 paddle extremes on my v
and i love them. i have had v paddles in the past
and dont like them at all they dont hook up nearly
as well as the straight paddles. and they dont help
you turn as most people say i am partial to skat trak
paddles have them on all my bikes and will keep
them on all my bikes

V paddles are more casual rider, straight are more aggressive. You can go faster and steeper. There's nothing wrong with 22" haulers, that's what I got. They are priced more like sand stars.

Default Paddle tire question???

24x11x10 Extremes with 9 paddles are the only way to go! You need to get the 11 inch wide rims from either Skat Trak or Douglas wheels to get the best flotation.

Thanks all. I guess I will be ordering the 24 inch extremes within the next week or two.
