The Belt Check Light came on my 03 650 Prairie at about the
100 hour mark, I understand this is normal, the bike is running fine
but the light stays on. I have the service manual, but I can't find where it tells you how to reset it. I tried the method to reset it when there is a belt problem, no luck. The light is not blinking, it just stays on.
Any help would be appreciated. when mine had the 100 hour belt check thing i followed the instructions on nyroc's web site and it worked out fine, disconect the belt switch wire (2 prong plug), switch the gray and black plugs (5 prong)located underneath the plastic on the right hand side (when sitting on machine), turn the key on for 10-15 sec. (on mine the belt light flashed quickly then went out when i turned the key on) then reconect every thing hope that helped
