Default V-Force and hill racing?

I've got a buddy thinking about buying one for the upcoming dune season. Since I've yet to see a V-Force in action, how do they do on the big hills? Are they competitive with the DS's and Raptor's racing up the hill?

I also like my V, but the weight, shaft drvie, etc. seem to hold it back on the hills. The raptor and DS with guys I ride with do better.

Default V-Force and hill racing?

Two days ago I raced 4 stock raptors at the same time and a totally built Z440 and beat all 5 by several lengths. All I have is a slip on. And we all had paddles. And I have beat piped raps and preds on that hill. But a well jetted piped rappy and ds650 "should" win. I know cause we have a 660R and it's faster. Be we have it set up right. I think the 700 is in the ballpark, I imagine a 785cc hi comp kit would really make you stand out on a hill. But I'm not into racing enough to bother with that. Last Saturday was perfect weather and we had a ball. I climbed all 4 chutes just left of the face. I think the cooler air was helping. I still can't find a single hill I cant climb.

Green700, I still haven't seen any V's out at the AZ Cinders, and I'm very interested in seeing them run there. You should take the road trip one weekend and check out the hillclimbs there. You'll be challenged for sure.
