Default 2003 Prairie 650 2wd/4wd flashing every 2 seconds?

Just started tonight so I'll be calling the dealer tomorrow. I have only 45 hrs on my 03 Prairie 650 and it is flashing from 2wd to 4wd every 2 seconds. Doesn't matter if I have it in 2wd or 4wd.
Any ideas on what may be wrong?

i looked in manual on page 39--it said a a flashing 2wd\4wd indicator light light signals a malfuction of the Kawi engine braking --a flashing of 0.5 seconds is the 2wd\4wd actuator--a 1 second interval is K-EBC actuator--2 second interval is both!!--Being so new Id say take to dealer-hopefully you dont live to far away--good luck--but at least you know what the problem is

Check you fuses first. Also check your speed sensor to see if it has any damage.

I'll check the fuses when I get home!

I agree, pull all of the fuses out & give the fuse holder a good cleaning. My P650 did this too & as it turned out, it was only a very dirty fuse block.

Thanks to all for the information (Can't believe I didn't see page 39 of the manual!)

Its in the shop (still under warranty). I told them about the fuses but they said just bring it in!
I'll post back with what the problem is after they tell me.

Just and FYI that it was just the 2wd/4wd actuator. Is this a common problem? I'm glad it was replaced FREE under warranty!

Haven't been on the forum in a while---just wondering what happened to your site---I would always go to that first if I had a problem
