i took off the boot in order to gain acces to the sprk plug and stripped the screw then tried to drill it out and in the meantime drilled out all the threads in the strap holding the lower part of the booy. anyway i was wondering if anyone had a better way of sealing the boot rather than the flimsy stock straps such as hose clamps or tyewraps i have nice thin long stainless tyewraps i wonder if they will work providing i can get them tight enough. any suggestions would be great thanks.

 

Plain old plastic ty-rapps will work, just get them fairly tight.
