newbeatle, it was great to see ya again and thanks for coming! You are right about the lap times, the utilities were running as fast as the first place winner in the sport class! The lap times were on an average 12minutes 30 seconds. We tore up 2 700 Prairie front bumpers and one of them busted the front plastic! We took 1st 2nd and 3rd place again with 2 700 Prairies and 1, 650 prairie! Leo placed 1 st again and had no problems until the last lap when a tree jumped out in front of him! He took 3rd over all I was told and was gaining on the leaders in the sport class! The track worked out great but the dust was terrible but the wind was blowing hard enuf to blow it away fast! We now will go back in and start redesigning the track to get it ready for the 12 hour race and fix the trouble spots that we know of now! The lower woods section is loose dirt and sand so it's pretty tore up, we are going to try to take a packer in there to hopefully make it hold up for 12 Hours!

We are suppose to have some custom made aluminum bumpers being made. What I'm planning on doing now tho is getting some heavier wall tubing and refab them to look original. Those new 700 Prairie bumpers bent like a tin can and protected nothing! I'm very happy now that I put on all my old stuff off the 650 instead of keeping that junk 700 stuff! Looks like if I have to replace the parts on the one with the broken front fender and bent bumper I'll be shucking out around $300.00!!! Awful expensive race for a plaque!

It will cost $10 to get in the gate and on Sunday there will be a Poker Run and ATV Pull. I'm not sure what the prices for these activities will be as the Webster County Wheelers are in charge of this. I am guessing that the poker run will around $10 for five laps around the 12-hour course (approxmately 35 miles) and then you will have the option to throw away one card and for an additonal $5 make another trip around the track. I believe the ATV Pull will be $10 per class.

H Bomb Films and Division Four just announced that their first regional qualifier for their upcoming Pro / AM ATV freestyle extravaganza, called Huevos Dirt Riot to be held in Southern Calfornia December 13, will be held during the 12-Hour intermission. For more information on this or to register call Sean Sermini at H-Bomb films 949-574-4800.

here's a little dig for some of you guy's that don't like to get beat by a girl... reality has set in for me... by Sunday, after the race, I'll be lucky if I can swing a leg over my quad, let alone be competitive in the pulls ... so I'm going to put my wife on my Prairie ( provided it's still running after the race ), to pull in the mens class...

We take it seriously when we put her on my quad... she's unbeaten in any venue that we've put her on my quad in, she even beat me, after I beat every other truck in a major mud bog race, with my Jeep, one time... so look out...WAM
