Prairie 700 Mag wheels for stock tires ?
My dad finally couldn't take it any more, after ridding my 650 all summer he broke down and pick up his 700 last weekend. He wants to keep the factory tires ( he's got tire chains for them ) but wants some different wheels for it. Any tips? is it possible? He pulled a wheelie yesterday, you should have seen the look on his face !! had to laugh, he wasn't even trying either, he just grabbed a bunch of throttle and boom! the front end was pointing to the sky.
Whats everybody's idea on the oil change in 10 hours, synthetic or not ? I'll put the regular kawi oil in the rear end.
One other question, does anyone know the reason why they put the rubber boots on the rear axel, I just noticed the '04s have them and the '03s don't ?
Mike

The ring for the rubber boots, on the axel housing, have been there all along... I had heard that some ealier models had them, some didn't ???
I would NEVER put synthetic oil in that soon... If you put synthetic oil in before your engine is FULLY broken in, it will not break in properly, & you are going to have engine problems... IMO, I'd wait untill the 2nd or 3rd oil change, as the soonest to install synthetic oil...
C series wheels are probably the best value in aftermarket wheels right now...WAM
