JUst installed holeshot module on p650
First, check to make sure you hooked it up correctly. Its easy to get confused and accidentally hook up the holeshot module to the pink wire incorrectly. Remember its supposed to hook up to the pink wire that goes INTO the cdi and not the other pink wire that goes down to the speed sensor.
Second, if its correctly installed, you should only notice a difference when you are moving at 3mph or less and then hit WOT. It won't kick in if you don't hit WOT!! Also, you should notice more of a difference if you do it from a dead stop.
If these two steps don't show any improvement at all (and you are sure you are on hard pavement with good traction when testing it), I recommend that you call Don at DG. He is very helpful and easy to talk to.

I would recommend not using those cheap connectors and soldering the wires and using heat shrink tubing (double it up so it it is water proof.). I didn't want to cut my wires anymore than needed, so I
ran the ground to the battery . No reason to cut a wire for the negative.
