best quad for me??
#3
Like I've said in a different thread, a Mojave is geared like a utility quad in low range. The 300EX's are faster, better handling, cornering the Mojave might be slightly better, jumping is easier on the 300EX (mainly because the handlebars aren't touching your knees at all times when riding) and most importantly, the 300EX has more top end than a Mojave.

I'm with you all the way mxracer. I'm 5'6" and 145lb and have no trouble with the bars hitting my legs. The Mojave is a way better jumper than both the 250X and 300EX. They ARE FASTER then the 300ex. They handle twice as good. My friends have 300ex's, 250X's, 250Rs, and 400EX's and they only ones that can beat me are the 400ex and 250r's. The Mojave would be great for you!!

You silly goose mxracer98- where do you guys get any proof of this, you would KNOW and not assume if a mojave is faster, jumps better, and handles better. that is all you guys are doing is assuming. I want facts, proof, stories. I dont want this I THINK bull. I want proof. THE BEST QUAD FOR YOU WOULD BE A 300EX OR 250X! enuff said!

your only 80 pounds and young. I like and find 4 strokes to be like a good horse. Steady and dependable with plenty of spunk. At your stature and if this an entry level quad. You might try the KLF 220 Bayou. They are relatively cheap, are a surprisingly good performer and very dependable. You will be able to use till it wears out. When your ready for something else pass it down or sell it. The honda Recon is nice too but alot more $. Good luck and take your time learnig etc.
