Default the new kfx 450 finaly here......

what kind of oil can i use 4 a 2000 mojave????????????can i get it from an auto parts store??

actually wildchild, i was referring to squirrely since he has an 87 mojave listed in his signature.

Actually the idea that these new bikes are copies of the Mojave is not that far off base if you are looking at the basic concepts. Yes the mojave is outdated and the new engines have better technology but lets look at a few things. The mojave was way ahead of its time. It had a 4 valve head with double overhead cams and liquid cooling and a short stroke for quick reving. These are the same ideas that FINALLY made it to the new quads that just came out. The 400ex did not have any of these features. The new engines have improved on these features by eliminating the rocker arms, better flowing heads and intakes, and lighter weight components, but they are still just getting around to the basic concepts the Mojave used in 87.

I like the mojave, but in no way think it is the greatest quad or is on par with these new machines. It does deserve more respect though.
