i just got my november issue of dirt wheels and you know what i see in their adds. Go to all of the pages where there is all of those weird adds with the blue top. VORTEX IGNITIONS has a TUNABLE CDI FOR THE KFX700. Thers up to ten selectable power adjustments. Theres a handlebar swith to allow you to switch between two diifrent settings on the fly.
Shouldn't it work on the P650 to

It won't work on the 650, because the CDI's are different ( no 4 X 4, & less sensors etc... ), but the V Force guys gotta be lovin this... If they could do that, we should all call them about a model for the 650 / 700 Prairie... just to show them how much interest there is... can you post the phone number ???

I was thinking that there may be a way to run both CDI's at the same time on the p650 by disconnecting the ignition wires and running the Vortex on there. Then using the stock CDI for the 4x4 and so on. You may have to make a few jumpers for certain sensors and such but i dont think it is impossible. It may take some tinkering but with a wiring schematic for a v force and a p650 i bet it could be possible. But at the same time it may be a good idea to call them and ask if they are planning on making one. If they say no then i would start fabricating. I mean i know its posible. Should get The G man on it if yah know what i mean. He could probably figure it out and sell an adapter harness so every one could just plug in and go.

Well, what the heck. I was talking to someone at Vortex just yesterday and they said no CDI for the V or the P. Maybe we weren't on the same page.....
I think we can isolate the igniton from the rest of the functions leaving them intact.
I am very interested....
