opinions of bolt on alum. parts for Mojave
#1
I started w/ an AC Racing swing arm skid once i made some bracket extensions I got it to bolt on then it took a decent rock bash and got bent and broke one mounting screw. My opinion: junk! I then purchased a PRM products swing arm skid and was very pleased. Much thicker, better coverage, Bolted right up, and hasn't moved a hair after taking several solid hits. I will be looking for a front bumper next and would like some input on those.

I don't know too much about your bike...(I mean as far as availability and mounting brackets)....But I use all Graydon bumpers and skids and have not had a problem yet...I did get a pretty good ding in the rear skid plate....But I kind of expected it coming...(I saw the rock...could not avoid it) The ding in the skid is alot cheaper than replacing the sprocket and/or carrier.
good luck

I have both the PRM Baja bumper and the AC bumper on my Mojaves. I like the PRM better because they also make a full chassis skid that fits great with the bumper. The bumper also helps protect your better if it ever hits anything head on. Either way you can't go wrong. If you go with the PRM get the Baja bumper and grabbar. If you get the AC get a bolt on kit from Golden West Cycle that comes with a bumper, grabbar, and a set of nerfs.
