what is the best kind of plow to get ? one you use with a winch or electric lift

 

electric lifts are better, less wear and tear.....but you can also get a shorter rope or cable and use that on your winch to save the longer cable.

 

it really wears down your winch that bad?

 

not really bad, its just not as good for it as using a shorter rope or cable.

also would you go with this plow or a smaller one? what is easier to use?

 

I have a Moose Plow and Mounting Kit on my 650 and the thing is great. Heavy Blade and heavy tubes for ruged construction not like those other cheap plows that bend.

I hear the Warn blade is heavily constructed too.

 

how much did you get that for and where?

 

I bought mine at a local dealer and the cost was around 325 I believe. That was everything minus the winch. The winch was around 3 something but I already had that when I bought the quad.

Just did a quick search for it and found hundreds of places selling them shop around you will need just for the plow
