28" Mud Lites Anyone?
#1
I've found a decent price on a set of 4 28x10x12 Mud Lites and have a couple of questions:
1) Do I have enough clearance to run these tires stock?
2) Will the power loss/wear and tear be significant?
Thanks for the input!

I have 28 mudlites and they fit great. There no rubbing and u can use your stock
rims. There is a bit of power loss but not much. The only thing i noticed was where
i used high range for just about everything now i have to use low range more.
As for a clutch kit i ran for 4 months without it and had no problem but i have the
spring installed now and they make a big difference.
Hope this helps.

I was thinking about buying Mudlites until a few guys I know said the cut side walls easy?? Said they were made of some kind of Nylon material for lightness.. I know their supposed to be 6ply... go figure.. Murph you said they fit a 650 no prob without rubbing ... Is that before your 1.5 lift or after? I noticed it in your description..? Cheers!

I've been running my mudlites for about 8 months and haven't any problems. I run in shale and have yet to cut a side wall. Same with sticks and the like running in the woods. Doesn't mean it won't happen, just hasn't happened to me.
If I had a couple of mil$, there are quite a few tires I'd like to try out. Until I hit for lottery, I'll stick to my mudlites. May try some Maxxis Bighorns next.
Peace,
