Where does the winch mount go on a P700 ?
I just picked up my Warne 2500 and I can't figure out where the plate mounts. I'm assuming it has to go in the oppening under the mesh grate in the front bumper but the mounting holes seem too low.
Does anyone know of any close up pictures of a P700 with a Warne winch mounted up?

Turns out that the dealer gave me the wrong winch mounting plate. Knew it couldn't be me..... ;>
You need Warn part number 62038 (winch mounting bracket) It bolts in to the bumper on the bottom on the inside. Two holes on the front and two holes on the bottom.
Piece of cake.

I'm glad you got it sorted out. I got mine in and it all fit. I really like the new switch. To mount it neatly near the rear brake handle I did the following:
1. Reversed the switch inside of the little rectangular Warn housing.
2. Took the switch mount bracket (flat plate about 3/8 X 1.5 X .25 thick) and opened the hole on one end and shortened it to .75 center to
center on the holes)
3 Mounted the bracket to the lower rear brake clamp screw and the other end to the switch housing angle bracket.
It makes a neat install. I'll post a picture when I get a chance.
