Default VForce behaves poorly after whoops

Originally posted by: bbertram My P650 and V both do this, but not on whoops. When I climb a steep hill I hit the incline fairly fast, this will cause the same problem.
Exactly! Mine would do it worst when hitting an abrupt faced jump or incline. Putting the float levels to the minimum did make a big difference, not a complete cure, but made it 90% better.
Skurj - the riding is super in NS, but the pressure is really being put on by the tree hugging greenies!

Default VForce behaves poorly after whoops

I think mine is being caused by something else....here is an update: I was out last weekend and went over a ledge, came down at a pretty good speed, as soon as I hit the bottom I instantly felt the power leave and the sound changed. It sure feels like I am knocking something out of whack that is causing my problem. Last year if I waited about 10 minutes I got my machine back...this time I could not get it to function properly. I almost didn't make it back to the truck, I couldn't get the weak thing to climb a small hill...took me a good run at it and about 5 tries. I usually heap on the shame before loading the quads by kicking them all in drags....this time I sat dejected on my ride. Even a day later when I started it up It still behaved poorly...I pulled the jet to make sure it hadn't worked loose but it was fine. Tested again tonight and magically it ran great. I am so frustrated and confused. IF I could take the Kawi mechanic with me I can duplicate this EVERYTIME. But at the shop....well they don't have alot of whoops and jumps there. If no one has any more suggestions I may have to break down and take it back to the mechanic....but that was useless last time.

The only other information I can add is when it happened this time I held in the brakes and hit the gas, my buddy stood behind the machine and said the right side wasn't hardly blowing and the left side was backfiring....today a pulled the rear spark plug and rode around, but it didn't quite match what I was experiencing earlier...so I think its firing.

Thanks....really just needed to vent, wasting a couple of hours at the dunes is no fun!
