i had a question about this also. anybody running synthetic in their v-force. i want to but don't want to take any chances ruining anything.

table out of the kawasaki manual:

all temps in farenheit
5w- 30 is good from -0 to 32 degrees
10w-30 is good from 14 to 85 deg.
10w-40 is good from 14 to 104 deg.
10w-50 is good from 14 to 104+ deg.
20w-40 is good from 32 to 104 deg
20w-50 is good from 32 to 104+ deg.

i run 10w-40 year round

I am running Castrol Syntec 10-40. It just has the synthetic additives.

I have been running Mobil synthetic since first oil change ... haven't noticed any adverse effects yet [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

MAXIMA-4 prem.10w-40 or 20w-50,alot of race teams run this oil.Since I started running MAXIMA my fan doesn't come on as much.It's around $15 a gallon,does two oil changes.

I'm using Pennzoil "motorcycle20W50" oil with a Scotts SS cleanable filter.

I change my oil every 20 hours.

I use Amsoil Motor Cycle V-TWIN 20-50 full synthetic.

mobil 1 red cap 15w-50 I have heard alot of good things about this oil. It is about 5.00 a qt. at any automotive store, and most retail stores

Been using Amsoil 10w40 since first change and no problems here.
