Default Big gun exhaust help, please!!!!!!!

I ordered Mike Penlands big gun exhaust. I am just about to go on vacation and was short on time so I took it to my dealer to have them install it. They put the pipes on, but when you put the muffler on the brakets the pipes do not reach the muffler!!! I recieved two pipes and the muffler, am I missing a peace? Tried to call Penland Brothers Racing, but of course they are closed today. I'm supposed to head up to Utah late tonight and have family flying in.

I had to tell them to go ahead and put the stock exhaust back on because I have to leave tonight. They already changed the jetting, and won't have time to change it back. 142 front and 145 rear. Will this cause me problems riding this week without going back to stock jetting?

Thanks!

You're not missing any pieces. That's all there is. You might have gotten the wrong pipes. My muffler had to be driven on to the pipes so that the mounting bolts would line up.

What you should have got with the full system is 3 pieces: the front header pipe, rear header pipe and the muffler I had a hard time getting mine on but it will fit it just takes some force. I called Mike Penland and asked him what was wrong and he told me it would fit but it was a tight fit. After all was said and done it fit and I love the exhaust. Hope this helps..

Like I said, mine was so tight, it had to be driven on with a rubber mallot. That was over a year ago, no problems since. Although, I have noticed it getting louder. Time to buy a repack kit I guess. I don't want the rivets loostening up like others have had happen.
